I am a country girl at heart who loves all things design. I am particulary passionate about creating an experience within a space, whether that be an overwhelming sense of relaxation or something that makes you go ‘wow, I am committed to making every space memorable. However, practicality is most important as a visually amazing space is nothing if it doesn’t meet the client's practical needs.
I am inspired by minimalistic styles and love a pop of colour, generally expressed through patterns or textures. I absolutely love terrazzo and curves to create interest, softness and a genuinely unique design. I enjoy muted tones that are subtle and relaxing while also creating beautiful designs full of warmth.
I think it is essential to design spaces that will last and won’t need replacing constantly. Durability is something that everyone needs, plus no one wants to replace something that they love. Overall the main design principles my designs follow are Function over form, durability, creating an experience and minimalism.
